Disappearing

a triptych meditation on disappearence

Disappearing
As if the world is just you —
Nothing else shining

Disappearing
Like in the ocean a drop —
Lost in the vast blue

Disappearing —
You are sky, sea and mountains
Melting into all

Last haiku inspired by this beautiful Chinese poem:

“The birds have vanished into the sky
and now the last cloud drains away.
We sit together, the mountain and me,
until only the mountain remains.”

— Lǐ Bái (Li Bo), Chinese poet
